I can hear them, oh how they ring!
Age waits not; time where are you?
My skin is pruned with wrinkles!
My mind has waned, and wanders.
Time, can you hear me?
No I fear not, the bells are too loud!
Visions of the past?
I'm haunted with people behind me.
I can't see the present.
No one is here with me.
Oh wait! There it is! The future.
People, there, on a distant shore!
The bells are at the lighthouse.
I am being rescued from the fog!
My passage will soon be complete.
Ah, those ringing bells!
Calling me to a beautiful place.
Time, I didn't recognize you!
You've changed your name to eternity!
