Dear Earth Angel,
As you may have heard, Loyola Press is reissuing one of my angel books, formerly titled Where Wonders Prevail. The new title is Angels and Wonders. This book has always been one of my favorites, and if you missed it the first time around, you will probably want to add it to your collection now. This book seeks to capture true stories of heaven on earth, such as these:
• As a woman flees an abusive boyfriend, her gas tank on empty, money materializes in her empty purse.
• Millions of fireflies suddenly appear and offer guiding light to desperate refugees.
• Two women strongly sense that a missionary priest, far away, needs prayers at the exact moment when he faces catastrophe.
I'm writing today to invite you to consider a few different ways you can help me to spread the word about Angels and Wonders.
1. Buy the book. Angels and Wonders is available on Amazon.com. Starting August 1, 2008 it will also be available at all major bookstores. If you purchase the book on Amazon.com on August 1st, it will help bump it up on the best-sellers list, enabling more people to learn about it. (Really important!)
2. Tell your friends. I've been amazed at how quickly information can spread through networks of people. It's quite possible that you already have a copy of the earlier edition, but you might know someone who doesn’t, or someone who is going through a tough time and would appreciate it as a gift. Hopefully they'll tell their friends, too.
3. Write a Review. If you enjoyed the book, please write a review on Amazon.com, other bookseller’s sites, or your social media site such as Facebook.
4. Add a signature to your personal email, promoting the book. A sentence after your message and signature can bring the book to someone’s attention who otherwise may not hear of it. The sentence can be as simple as, Looking for a good read? Check out Angels and Wonders at www.joanwanderson.com.
5. Hang in there with me. As my subscribers know, I’ve had difficulty sending new stories due to a mailing problem. It appears I can resume sending stories very soon, and I will be able to let you all know when that occurs.
