Christian Author Filoiann is...

A Woman after God's Own Heart. A Pastor's Wife.
Work at Home Mom. Woman's Biblical Counselor.
Bible Teacher. Writer. Columnist.

I am an ordinary woman who loves an extraordinary God. My desire is to be a woman after God's own heart and glorify His Name. I love spending time with God, family and friends. I have three passions: ministering, encouraging and writing and desire to use my gifts and passions to build up the body of Christ, encourage those who don't know Christ to draw near to Him and bless others.

Ministry History

In the last twenty years Filoiann has served in various ministries. She is one of the Founder's of "Samoan Youth for Christ" in San Diego, CA and served in Urban Ministries and Youth Ministries. Nine of the twenty years, she served as a counselor, including youth crisis counseling (1800HITHOME), outreach counseling and the last six years as a pastoral care woman’s biblical counselor.

She and her husband Daniel Wiedenhoff served at Horizon Park Chapel as leaders and overseers for eight years before they stepped out to start their own church plant. There she served as a Woman’s Ministry Overseer & Trainer, Bible Teacher and Woman's Counselor.

The last two and a half years she and her husband along with Pastor Richard Ferguson (Fergy)and his wife Gladys stepped out to start a church plant in an urban area of San Diego called City Heights and there Mid-City Christian Fellowship was born. The church is growing and they are being blessed.
