After Faith Is Come

Christian Author Writer Life at it's best is a struggle for some folks in one form or another, I once was young and now I am old and nothing under the sun is new. I was born of a Cherokee, Cajun- French, Irish blood line and had no say In it. Some folks spend a lifetime struggling because of skin color, some Because of geography, some because of abuse, some because of attitude. And sometimes abuse will cause a loss of hope and attitude.

I have a young woman that works for me, Pamela Romano, that is a true blue cowgirl. She can rope and ride, rode the rodeo circuit as a barrel racer and can build you a barn if you need one. And in all of that she retained her femininity and is very soft hearted, has a natural love for animals, owns dogs, goats, chickens and I lost count but I think 12 or 13 horses.

A few months back, deer hunters or someone killed two of her dogs, and she is still heartbroken over them. Now Ms. Pam is fond of big dogs, the kind that can work cattle and such, and I am sure, although she has never done so in front of me, chuckles when I talk about Jenny Lee (my Lover cat).

Well one day she showed up to work, and introduced me to a new friend of hers, a very large cow dog that had clearly been abused and under-fed. She had named him Bo.

It was very clear that Bo had fallen in love with Ms.Pam and a strong bond was quickly forming between the two. If you had any doubts about it, just try to walk close to Pamela. Oh son, you best listen to Ol Poppa K, it would be In your best interest not to do so. Amen and amen. It was obvious that Bo had lost hope and I can hear Paul saying, without hope, I would, above all men, be the most miserable.

Well she asked me if it would be ok if she kept him with her at work and I agreed to it and cautioned everyone to beware.

Even though Bo was very aggressive, I could see something in him that Pam had already sensed, a potential that most would not realize.

I watched as Pamela worked with him. When he stood in need of correction she corrected him, but never abused him. When he was in need of tenderness she was tender.

My God, My God, good neighbor this ol country boy is getting happy, I can well remember when folks thought that Poppa k was an undesirable, and things didn't look very good for his future. And suddenly the Holy Spirit was there and began to feed me and correct me, and Love me.

My, My, MY, gonna have to shout for a bit !! Be right back . . .

When the Master sends his Holy Spirit, if you will let Him, he will tenderize you and give you an attitude adjustment as well. I reckon the old saying, those that are the most unlovable are the ones that need love the most, is a truism.

I watched big Bo as he began to gain confidence in Pamela, the realization that, she has his best interest in mind came to him and as a result, his Hope returned.

And with Hope comes Faith.

When my friend Pamela first brought Big Bo around, he was always on guard getting very little sleep. I can only imagine the life that he must have lived, pre-Pamela. Now they tell me that you can punch him, pick him up and carry him, blow in his ear or all of the above and he will still sleep unless you just keep on keeping on. My MY - What a change. From wandering around looking for a biscuit and hardly any rest at all, to all the biscuits he can eat and a feather bed. Don't get no better than that. Amen

My Father has that effect on you also. All he has to say is, " Peace Be Still ".

Who are these that are arrayed in white robes? And where did they come from? These are those that came out of great tribulation and have washed their robes and made them white in the Blood of the Lamb. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore, neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them, unto living fountains of waters and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

It won't do you any good to tell me that there is no such thing as Divine Healing, Healing of soul, mind and body. Bo has gained weight and Pam has cleaned him up and healed the sores that he had when she first got him. His body is healed from the years of abuse. He has faith that Pamela is gonna take care of him and he is not as aggressive as he was, or in other words, he has become a better soul to be around.

I can hear my Master saying, come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. " After Faith Is Come "
