I walk the straight and narrow,
His gift dwells in me,
Not I that walks,
but Christ set me free.
He's calling me home
to eternity on high.
Many will follow
Some will believe a lie.
He'll take care of me
as He always does.
The Sparrow doesn't go hungry,
no need for any fuss.
I continue His walk,
drawing nigh,
Obeying my Master,
My mansion awaits in the sky.
I'm so glad my name's on His roll,
I had to settle,
but Christ paid my toll.
I accepted God's gift of grace,
no longer will death sting,
I'll get a heavenly taste
of victory with the Son,
while the heavenly angels sing,
Victory's already won.
