Christian Author Writer 1Jn:2:18: Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Amplified Version reads this way: Boys (lads), it is the last time (hour, the end of this age). And as you have heard that the antichrist [he who will oppose Christ in the guise of Christ] is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen, which confirms our belief that it is the final (the end) time.

1Jn: 3:8-10: He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son f God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9: Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10: In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

1Jn: 4:4-11: Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 5: They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. 6: We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. 7: Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8: He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9: In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10: Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11: Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

Amplified Version says this in Vs 5: They proceed from the world and are of the world; therefore it is out of the world [its whole economy morally considered] that they speak, and the world listens (pays attention) to them.

(This message is about the present day interpretation of love and the present day perception of Jesus. Just as the world has infiltrated the church, the church has influenced the world’s thinking. It is a marriage of iron and clay.)

Dan: 2:31-35: Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. 32: This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, 33: His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. 34: Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. 35: Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

36-38: This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king. 37: Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. 38: And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.

39-43: And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth. 40: And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. 41: And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. 42: And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. 43: And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

(In the scriptures above in 1Jn we learn that the anti-Christ will oppose Christ in the guise of Christ, that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, that the true children of God do not practice sin, and that the worldly people speak from a worldly point of view.

In Daniel’s telling of and interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream we see that God likens the first far-reaching kingdom to a golden one. The next kingdom and the next would be a little more inferior and the last kingdom before Jesus comes to reign will be a mixture of strength and weakness, but it will not be gold, silver, or brass, it will be iron and clay. What is God talking about?

I believe the kingdoms here are referring to the spirit of the age and the political power born of it. In this last age before Jesus comes the spirit of the age is one of man playing God. That’s right--look around--man determining what is right and wrong without consulting the Bible to do it. Man intervening in people’s affairs pronouncing evil good and good evil.

This sets the stage for the anti-Christ. He will oppose Christ in the guise of Christ. Let me paint the picture:

God says murder is wrong. The anti-Christ spirit says abortion is a woman’s right and that it is wrong to stop her from killing her baby and it is wrong to put a guilt trip on her for doing so.

God says fornication and adultery in all its forms is sin that will separate you from life. The anti-Christ spirit says it’s not all that bad--it’s just the way it is--humans are weak. Some even go so far as to contradict God and say that it is only sin to those who think it is sin.

God set up free enterprise and teaches mankind to be generous. The anti-Christ spirit takes the working class’s money by force and gives it to whomever they deem should have it for whatever reason they deem is good.

We could go on and on with this. We could talk about how unwisely these ungodly people who are playing God are dealing with many situations--such as the way the prisons are being run, the way the border situation is being handled, the way the judges are ruling, and on and on. I feel sure you can get a picture of the anti-Christ spirit from what I have written.

The anti-Christ spirit is like an ignorant little child who has the power to make all major decisions. The child has no knowledge, but it thinks it has a lot of knowledge and it makes it’s decisions based upon the knowledge or lack thereof that it possesses. The end is inevitably disaster.

The anti-Christ spirit has rejected the teachings of Christ and the teachings of the Bible. Some reject it because they haven’t been taught right. Some reject it because they have been taught that it is wrong. Some reject it because they hate it. Some reject it because they are ignorant of what the Bible really teaches. These are all grouped together to become the anti-Christ spirit.

They will oppose the real Christ because they think Jesus loves the way their unwise teachers and leaders love. They think he is a good old boy. They do not know or understand a love that cares more about the end result of choices than it does about whether the loved one is happy today.

They don’t know or recognize a Jesus that walks in wisdom and truth. Their Jesus stands only for what seems humane at the moment. Their Jesus is kind and loving, but it’s not godly kindness nor godly love.

Godly kindness and love always does what is best for the person, for the family, for the church, for the nation, for the world. Jesus does not bend the rules nor break the rules because He knows that the rules originated from the one who knows what He is talking about.

You want to know what you are talking about? You want to know how to make good choices? You want to know that you are walking in love? Let the Bible be your guide in all things and do not listen to man or woman if their thoughts, teachings, and/or doings are contrary to the written Word of God.)

2Thess: 2:1: Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2: That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3: Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4: Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5: Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6: And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7: For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8: And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10: And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11: And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 13: But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 14: Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15: Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. 16: Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, 17: Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

Dan: 2:44-45: And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. 45: Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
