Tho’ the storms of life around us rage,
and it seems our ship might fail;
tho’ all seems lost and tempest tossed,
by faith we have set our sail.
Life’s voyage leaves the harbor safe,
and measured is each detail.
But strife unseen can still intervene,
so by faith we have set our sail.
‘Til the beacon finds our wand’ring soul,
as we stand longing at ship’s rail.
Then we follow guiding light on through the night,
as by faith we have set our sail.
To the Master’s moorings come we now;
we’ve made it through the gale.
We’re welcomed home, no more to roam.
By faith we have set out sail.
