Lord, let me pass through this day to come, and never to stray from your trail,
never ceasing my praying, for such prideful straying, could only mean that I fail.
Fail to acknowledge the things that you’ve done, and the things you have yet to perform.
Tho’ tossed and buffeted by the winds of the world, you’ve seen me through every storm.
And storms shall arise still yet in my life, but by faith, you’ll guide there as well.
Lord let me pass through this day to come, ever that witness to tell.
